Freefall Data Systems LLC was founded in 2016 by CEO Casey Mongoven (D‑33972) in Lompoc, California, and relocated to Lutz, Florida in 2025. Casey designs all hardware and software for FDS products.
The majority of his 6,000 jumps have come as a USPA Coach Examiner, Tandem Instructor, and AFF Instructor, and he currently jumps camera for the 4‑way team Z‑Hills Door Blockerz.
FDS is an American company—every product is manufactured and thoroughly tested at the production facility in Lutz, Florida.
